Your blog must be placed on a reputable and trustworthy web hosting.
There are three main things to consider before choosing a hosting provider:

SiteGround would be the best choice for most of the new and established bloggers. I host almost all of my websites on it. Oh, yeah, it also very affordable.

3. WordPress
WordPress is the most popular content management system (CMS) on the web that makes it extremely easy for bloggers to spread their information across the world.

In fact, WordPress powers about 35% of all existing websites on the web (including this website). (Source)
It is SEO and user-friendly and I highly recommend it.

4. GeneratePress
Modern design plays a significant role in your blog’s success. Your blog should have a professional look, be fast, secure, and steady, plus it should deliver a great user experience.
There are thousands of good options on the market and I will share with you my personal pick.

The best free WP theme on the market (more than 1000 of 5-star reviews) I recommend it if every penny matters for you and you are not yet ready to invest in a premium theme.

If the style of your blog needs some further adjustments or you are planning to create a couple of enticing landing pages you should totally try GenerateBlocks.

Thrive Leads is yet another cool tool I use in my arsenal.
It is an all-in-one list building plugin that will help you generate more email subscribers and leads.
It has all the features you can imagine for turning your blog visitors into email subscribers.

You will never need multiple plugins(that may potentially conflict with each other).
You can get a lifetime license for a relatively small price.

If we started talking about list building it is important to mention another great tool I use in my email marketing campaigns.
It is called Sendinblue.
Sendinblue makes it possible to create email marketing campaigns even if you are a complete newbie.

What sets this company apart is that it is really affordable comparing to other email marketing services.
Price: you can start using SendinBlue for free(300 emails/day) and upgrade it for 25$/month (40000 emails/month).
8. Sassy Social Share
Social Media Marketing is one of the key aspects of blogging. It helps you build consistent traffic to your website and put your website content in front of thousands(or even millions) of people.

Hemingway is another powerful tools that will assist you with content creation.

14. Freepic’s Visual Assets
I just had to mention Freepic in this blog post.
This website features amazing pieces of digital art you can use on your blog or other forms of media.
Freepik and Flaticon are owned by the same company. I use some of their images and icons to create images for my blogs.

In fact, the featured images you can see on this blog are made with help of the Flaticon beautiful icons.

15. Evernote
When people talk about note-taking and productivity, Evernote is the first app that comes to my mind.
This simple (yet very helpful) app can help bloggers, online marketers, SEO professionals, and entrepreneurs capture and arrange their ideas.

I had been using Evernote for almost 3 years until I ditched it for Apple Notes (but this is another story:))
The reason I did that has nothing to do with the app’s quality and highly recommend it for all bloggers and creative people.

16. BuzzSumo
It is a platform that allows you to find the best performing and most shared pieces of content on the web.
I use BuzzSumo mainly for competition analysis and blog post ideas generation.
You just need to type in your topic keyword in the search bar and see the most successful pieces of content you can find on the internet.

17. HubSpot Blog Topic Generator
It might be really tough occasionally to come up with great content topic ideas.

How do you know if your article topic is trendy nowadays?
Use Google Trends.
This useful tool shows how frequently a given search term is entered into Google’s search engine.
In other words, it shows you whether people are interested any particular topic or not.

I use it when I am not sure if my new blog post idea will resonate with people and generate a decent amount of traffic.

24. Google Search Bar
That is right!
Google search bar is one of the best tools I can recommend you for keyword research and content creation.
I mostly use it for checking the top performing content on the web and competitor analysis.
However there is another little-known SEO trick I want to share with you.
It is called Google Alphabet Soup. The idea behind it is simple:
- First, you type in your target keyword in the search bar
- Next, you see what Google suggests to you.
- Then, you start adding one letter at a time from a to z. Each typed letter can potentially uncover a couple of sweet keywords phrases or even new content ideas.
- Finally, you analyze the competition for the keyword phrases you discovered and make a list of blog post ideas.

This simple technique can help you generate at least 10 new topic ideas in less than 10 minutes.

I use SimilarWeb when performing competitor analysis for my clients and my own blogs
This great tools can help you uncover the main traffic sources of any given website.
In other words, you can see the exact places where your competitors get their blog visitors from.

Why do you need this data?
You can use your competitors’ sources of traffic and turn them into your personal traffic driving engines.
When you see where the visitors come from it is usually right to assume that your target audience can be found there.
This simple blogging tool may save you a lot of time, money, and effort.

I used to play with this great tool a lot back in the days when I paid much attention to social media marketing (SMM).
It just makes the process of sharing your blog content across different sorts of social media platforms WAY easier, saving you time and energy.

Additionally, you can schedule your posts in advance, Bugger will publish them on your behalf, and you will be able to focus on something else.
Posts in your queue will be sent out automatically by Buffer, according to the posting schedule that you put in place.

Last, but not the least.

I use YouTube primarily to keep my finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and learning new knowledge. (Alright, I have to admit that I watch UFC channel from time to time;))
